Privacy and your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your questions and help with your mortgage enquiry. Please do not send account numbers, passwords, social insurance numbers, or identification documents through this website or chat.

Chat and Alana

A secure browser cookie lets you return to your current conversation. We store submitted messages, contact details you provide, calculator scenarios, feedback, and delivery records. Alana uses an external AI provider to process conversation context and generate replies. Live dictation sends audio to Google for transcription; the dictation feature does not save raw audio or unsent drafts on our server. Review your text before sending.

Alana provides general information and planning estimates. Alan should confirm advice for your circumstances. AI email previews require your confirmation before sending.

Measurement and diagnostics

We measure visits, campaign sources, chat and calculator milestones, booking-link clicks, response times, and technical failures to improve the website. These measurements use a random browser identifier and do not include message text or contact details. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for optional browser measurement. Brokerage outcomes are recorded separately by Alan.

This choice applies to this browser and also disables our Google Analytics tag. Google Analytics is used on the public production site for website measurement. It is not loaded on administration pages or local test hosts. This choice does not disable chat, delivery records, security controls, or financial accounting.

Retention and access

Conversation records are removed after the configured inactivity period. Routine diagnostics are kept for a limited period; detailed AI diagnostic capture may be enabled temporarily for troubleshooting. Financial usage records are kept separately. Rotating recovery backups may retain information after it leaves the active database. Access to private records is restricted to the administration area.
